Books for Prisoners – a Partnership with Henry Roi PR

.

We love books

And so do many prisoners. But often they have no access to a library and no means of buying books.

The children of prisoners are often disadvantaged too. We would like prisoners to be able to send books to their children.

Should we really need to be persuading anyone of the importance of books? We don’t think so.

We are therefore happy to have been sponsored by Henry Roi PR, a small literary PR company, to send prisoners and their children paperbacks of works by the authors whom they are promoting. Books are donated both by Henry Roi PR and by the authors.

See list of books below!

If prisoners (or their children) enjoy the books or have things to say about them, they are encouraged to submit a brief review, which will publicised by Henry Roi PR, and be published in:

If you know any inmate who would like to receive a book, or would like us to send a book on their behalf to their child, please send us their details, with a suggestion from the list below and/or an indication of what they would like to read. Books will be sent by the approved book supplier for the facility concerned. We can’t guarantee that we will be able to meet every request, as this is a limited scheme, but if we can’t send immediately we will keep details on file and send a book as soon as we are able to. Happy reading!
